10 Things Your Cat Is At Least A Little Bit Grateful For

Thanksgiving is just around the corner. Cats are definitely something to be thankful for. Their cute faces, adorable meows, and loving cuddles always brighten up our days. But what about Fluffy? A Cameron Park, CA vet lists some things your feline buddy may actually appreciate in this article.

Food

Food is often front and center in Thanksgiving celebrations, so it’s no wonder to find it at the top of this list. Some of our feline patients even purr as they eat. We can’t blame Fluffy for loving food so much. We’re pretty thankful for it too!

Sunbeams

We’re fairly certain that cats don’t actually run on solar. However, they are suspiciously fond of basking in the sun. Maybe Fluffy never got the memo that she isn’t a reptile?

Comfy Beds

Sleeping is Fluffy’s number one pastime. Your furball can spend up to 20 hours a day napping. That’s pretty impressive!

Clean Litterboxes

This one is probably self-explanatory. No one likes a dirty bathroom!

Toys

Playing is great for your furry friend, both mentally and physically. Fluffy definitely appreciates all the toys she’s pushed under the couch!

Boxes

Kitties are full of adorable quirks, and their box obsession is definitely one of the cutest. It’s probably safe to say that boxes would make Fluffy’s list.

Warm Laps

There are many reasons we think kitties are purrfect pets, but one of the best ones is the fact that they fit into our laps so well. We’re also pretty sure Fluffy enjoys using us as furniture.

Windows

Many of our feline friends absolutely love birdwatching. Fluffy can spend hours just relaxing, sunbathing, and daydreaming about hunting.

Catnip

This list simply wouldn’t be complete without Fluffy’s favorite plant. Giving your furball catnip may very well be just as fun for you as it is for her!

You

Although we like to jokingly say that cats are cold and calculating, that actually couldn’t be further from the truth. These little furballs are very emotional, and really thrive when they feel loved. After you’ve finished that holiday meal, spend some time with Fluffy. There’s no better way to get through that post-turkey food coma than by cuddling with a purring cat!
