Resolutions Inspired By Dogs

Happy New Year! As we leave 2019 behind, many people are making resolutions for the new year. This is a great time to revisit your priorities, and set some goals for the future. As it turns out, our canine pals can be quite helpful with this! Read on as a Cameron Park, CA vet lists some resolutions inspired by dogs.

Get Lots Of Sleep

Fluffy may be the napping champion among our four-legged friends, but Fido is no slouch here, either. Dogs spend about half of their time sleeping, on average. Make sure you’re getting enough rest!

Make Time For Having Fun

There are few things cuter than a dog hard at play. Fido is absolutely adorable when he’s happily bounding off after his favorite toy. Make time to do the things you enjoy this year!

Eat Well

If there’s one thing we can say about our canine patients, it’s that they love food. While you’ll probably want to be a bit pickier than Fido is, it is important to eat nourishing, healthy food.

Appreciate The Little Things

It doesn’t take much to get Fido’s cute tail wagging. Bacon, belly rubs, car rides, and ear scritches can all make dogs super happy. That exuberance can be a great inspiration. Enjoy the simple things in life!

Stay Active

Fido is often very active and frisky, and loves to run and play. Some of our canine companions are furry, four-legged bundles of zoom! Make a habit of taking your pup to parks, trails, or beaches this year. The fresh air and activity will be good for both of you.

Be Loyal

Man’s Best Friend has many wonderful qualities, but his loyalty is truly special. Fido will stick faithfully by your side through all of the ups and downs 2020 may bring. Stay loyal to those who have been good to you.

Spend Time With Your Loved Ones

If it was up to Fido, he’d spend all day every day just hanging out with his favorite humans. Life can get hectic these days! Be sure to carve out time for friends and family. (Dogs are both, as far as we are concerned.)
