We’re looking for a dedicated veterinarian to join our full-service small animal clinic in El Dorado Hills, California. With over 30 years of commitment to the local community, our practice offers a comprehensive blend of traditional medical, diagnostic, dental, and surgical care alongside Eastern medicine options for a well-rounded approach to animal healthcare.

• State-of-the-Art Facilities: Modern, remodeled facility (2020-2021) in the end unit of Lake Forest Plaza with three exam rooms, a spacious surgical suite, and a separate dental suite with digital dental X-ray. We also feature two separate lobbies for dogs and cats, helping to minimize stress and maximize comfort for all our patients.
• Advanced Equipment: You’ll work with cutting-edge technology, including surgical and cold therapy lasers, ultrasound, and in-house IDEXX lab equipment (ProCyte, Catalyst 1, Coag DX).
• Dedicated Patient Base:  We exclusively serve small animals (60% dogs, 40% cats), allowing us to develop deep, lasting relationships with our clients and their pets.
• Unique Integrative Approach: We believe in integrative care, combining Western medicine with Eastern therapies such as acupuncture and herbal medicine. With a DVM on the path to rehab certification, we offer even more comprehensive care to our patients.
• This is a perfect opportunity for an experienced veterinarian, with strong surgery and dentistry skills, interested in a potential leadership role.

About Our Team: Our team includes four experienced Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs), each with over 15 years of experience. This skilled group ensures seamless operations, allowing our veterinarians to focus on delivering high-quality medicine. The RVTs are vital to supporting both our veterinary team and our clients, enhancing patient care and communication.

What's In It For You

Benefits: At Veterinary Healing Center, we take employee well-being seriously. We offer a base salary ranging from $130,000 to $175,000 annually, plus production, for a 40-hour work week (4/10s). Additional benefits include:

Work Schedule:

• 4 weekdays, with flexibility for part-time hours.
• Surgery can be scheduled daily or once a week, with appointments from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
